In December of 2023, Participa!, M Real Estate Group, Legacy Financial Group and several local donors from Bernalillo, came together to provide and distribute a Christmas dinner from Placita’s Cafe to 12 families from Bernalillo Public Schools. We hope to continue giving back to the community in the years to come during the Christmas season. Thank you everyone who has helped!

We will be at different lunch distribution sites during the month of October. Look for Participa! Banner. Tooth decay is one of the most common preventable diseases seen in children. We can Prevent cavities in a painless quick swipe!

Estaremos en diferentes sitios de distribución de almuerzos durante el mes de octubre. Busque la Bandera de Participa. La caries dental es una de las enfermedades prevenibles más comunes observadas en los niños. Podemos prevenir las caries con un tacto suave.

Participa! is wishing you all well during this quarantine time. Though this time has been a difficult adjustment for most of us, we hope it has also been positive in some way for you too.
Participa! is working on changes for the upcoming school year to ensure the safety of our students and staff! We are working closely with the Office of Oral Health, following the guidance of Center for Disease Control and OSHA guidelines. Our top priority is safety and to maintain your trust with your favorite student.
Keep your heads up and work on good oral hygiene habits! Children with tooth pain are three times more likely to miss school than those without tooth pain.
Participa!, Inc. Mobile Dental Services is a non-profit service organization whose mission is to increase access to dental services for New Mexico children. We are a portable school-based program staffed with licensed dental professionals.

Medicaid eligible and private dental insurance:
We provide comprehensive dental exams, dental cleanings, topical fluoride treatments and dental sealants for all children that return a parental consent form. Medicaid or private dental insurance reimburses us for providing these services.
Uninsured children:
A Department of Health grant helps provide limited funding for children who are uninsured.
